Some fun on the rocks with Cassie’s new bike and her old man. The first few days were rainy and quite chilly so she and her father made a visit to Arches and hiked around some of the most famous landmarks in the area. When the weather abided they rode many of the amazing trails all around Moab and Capt’ A-hab for the first time. Cassie is loving her Juliana!
That pretty yellow bike right there is Cassie’s brandy new Juliana Furtado that she received through her ambassadorship with them. Cassie was so excited about her new bike she hopped right on the trail to soon find out why most people wait for the snow to melt before they head out on the trails. It was quite slippery but also a blast, she can’t wait for more fun adventures on this great bike.
As I’m starting to make plans for the winter and skiing around Colorado, including Crested Butte, I remember back to this summer coaching there for a week with a group of six SMBA riders and two other coaches, riding the best trails and doing lots of push ups and cooking and eating delicious food!
