Cassie Taylor has been riding bikes since before she could remember whether it was riding in circles in the garage, riding up and down the driveway, or attempting to race her dad up mountain roads, she always enjoyed her saddle time.
As time went on, it was only natural for her hobby to grow, she started riding with a local team in Boulder called SMBA where she currently also coaches riders of many ages.
When Cassie started attending Boulder High School, she joined the mountain bike team and placed 6th in her first race ever, the Snow Mountain Ranch Stampede.
Cassie then went on to place 3rd in Leadville at the CloudCity Challenge, 4th at the Peaceful Valley Invitational, and 4th again at the Haymaker Classic, winning 4th overall in the state for the 2014 season.
Cassie looks forward to training hard to do better in racing next season and seeing where her bike can take her in more ways than one.
Cassie plans to compete in many more races and continue coaching and pursue her goals of becoming a stronger rider and eventually she hopes to complete the Colorado Trail and other famous rides all around.
